John Vinge founded the Upper Murray Horseman’s Association Inc. (UMHA) in 1972, a great horseman in his own right, with the first meeting being held at Granya, Victoria.
The Upper Murray Horseman’s Association is a family based club, offering enjoyment through horses at all levels of riding skill, with a wide variety of activities for participants of all ages. The club is now based in North East Victoria at the picturesque Tallangatta Show Grounds on the shores of Lake Hume, with some events held at outside venues such as Myrtleford and Berrigan.
